Mestre Suassuna
Born in 1938, in Ilhéus Bahia. He began practicing capoeira in the early 1950’s as a doctors precription for his physical deficiency.
In 1960’s he became one of the prominent capoeira masters.
He founded Associação de Capoeira Cordão de Ouro together with Mestre Brasilia in September 1967, and led the group to become one of the biggest capoeira school worldwide.
He created the “Miudinho” game, with it’s berimbau rhythm, which is a unique capoeira game of CDO school.

Mestre Risadinha
Born in 1963 in Poções, Bahia. He is a graduate with degree of Physical Education and Dental Prostheses, which explains how he got his ‘apelido’ or nickname RISADINHA.
He started training capoeira in 1979, and has traveled for capoeira events, where he met great masters, whom have been a big part of
“his life story”.
He has been active in teaching capoeira, and in 1995, he opened his own capoeira school, RAIZ DA CDO (The Root of CDO), dedicated to teach and spread the art capoeira.
Mestre Well
Mestre Well started learning capoeira at the age of 12 with Mestra Maze in Jaicós Piauí for about 10 years before moving to Sao Paulo.
Since then he trained capoeira with Mestre Kibe and Mestre Suassuna.
Mestre Well graduated with blue cord (Instrutor) in 2017. He received mestre belt in 2022. Currently, Mestre Well teaches capoeira for children and adults in Russia.
It has been 23 years since Mestre Well capoeira journey started, and he continues on to learn and improve, and he hopes to pass on his knowledge and experience to capoeirista who are also together in this path.

Mestre Manchinha
Mestre Manchinha was born in 1995, in Jataí, Goiás. His family moved to Sao Paulo when he was 1 year old. There, he was introduced to capoeira at a very young age from his uncle Gleyson, who is a strong and agile capoeirista.
Mestre Manchinha started training seriously and learning the art with the old capoeira masters in Sao Paulo since
2000.
In 2010, he started training under Mestre Suassuna, graduated along others “Geração de Ouro” (Golden Generation) in 2017, in the 50th anniversary of Cordão de Ouro establishment.
Today, Mestre Manchinha has been in Russia for 6 years, working along with Mestre Cueca in the “Centro Russo de Capoeira Cordão de Ouro” (Russian Centre for Capoeira Cordão de Ouro)
